THE WHAT? Interparfums SA has announced that the fashion and beauty segments of Maison Rochas will now be consolidated under its management. All marketing, communications, and licensing activities of the Rochas fashion ready-to-wear line will be handled by Interparfums.
THE DETAILS? In the past two years, the Rochas business was managed by HIM Co SpA, the High Italian Manufacturing company based in Bergamo, Italy. Even though the management is changing, HIMCO will continue to produce Rochas fashion. The brand’s spring 2024 collection will be designed by Rochas’ creative studio and unveiled during the Paris Fashion Week in September.
THE WHY? The move is part of a growing trend of multinational companies seeking to create synergies and boost business by integrating their brands’ fashion and beauty sectors. By taking over the entire management of Rochas, Interparfums intends to ensure cohesion and streamline the brand’s operations, particularly after creative director Charles de Vilmorin’s departure in March.
