THE WHAT? AS Watson and AmorePacific have signed an agreement to further strengthen the collaboration between them in order to expand the reach of the K-beauty manufacturer’s derma and premium skin care brands.
THE DETAILS Currently Watsons stocks hair care lones RYO and Mise en Scene as well as Etude and Innisfree in its Asian store network. As a result of this agreement, illiyoon and Aestura will hit shelves across Asia and Europe.

THE WHY? AmorePacific has been seeking to widen its customer base beyond China in a bid to boost sales, while AS Watson hopes to tempt more customers in store with new brands and products. Malina Ngai, CEO of AS Watson (Asis & Europe), explains, “Our strategic partnership with AmorePacific Group started in 2019 and we’re excited to take it to the next level… We have observed that K-beauty is widely searched, and we continue to see stready increase in demand not only in Asia but also in Europe.”
