THE WHAT? Aveeno has announced the launch of its 2023 Startup Collective. The Kenvue-owned is inviting Black female-identifying entrepreneurs to pitch their product for a chance to pick up a US$100,000 prize.
THE DETAILS Candidates can enter through August 13, 2023 by creating a one- to to-minute video introducing themselves and their business.
The winner will be announced at Culturecon, a conference celebrating culture, community and creatives of color.
THE WHY? The initiative is designed to empower Black female-identifying entrepreneurs with a products, brand or technology that meets the skin or hair care needs of Black consumers; part and parcel of the brand’s wider diversity and inclusion commitments.
