THE WHAT? The Avon Company has announced that it is pulling out of the Puerto Rican and Caribbean markets, according to a report published by The News Journal. The US- and Canada-based direct sales brand’s decision to exit these markets will be effective August 30, 2023.
THE DETAILS The closure of operations will see some 100 full-time staff made redundant, no figures were available for part-time workers and contractors.
THE WHY?
