THE WHAT? Procter & Gamble has named a new head of its Specialty Beauty unit. Colin Walsh will take the helm from Chris Heiert who is retiring in July, according to a report published by WWD.
THE DETAILS As Senior Vice President, the Specialty Beauty Group, Walsh will oversee the growth and development of Ouai, Tula, Farmacy and First Aid Beauty Brands.
THE WHY? Walsh brings extensive experience to the role, having held the position of CEO of Ouai for the past five years. Alex Keith, CEO of P&G Beauty told WWD, “Colin brings a wealth of experience and proven results across different specialty beauty businesses and channels.
