THE DETAILS? Colin Walsh, the second head of P&G’s speciality beauty division, will take over as Tula’s interim CEO. P&G acquired Tula in 2022, marking it as one of several acquisitions to build out its speciality beauty division. Tula, known for its trendsetting focus on microbiome skincare, was estimated to have net sales of around $150 million in 2021.

THE WHY? Sachs’ departure is part of a broader reshuffle within P&G’s speciality beauty division. “It’s rare that multiple acquired brands join a business simultaneously… With this new transition, this is even more important,” P&G Beauty CEO Alex Keith noted on LinkedIn.
