THE WHAT? The Estee Lauder Companies’ Executive Chairman has purchased a 12th-floor apartment on Park Avenue from Revlon owner Ron Perelman, according to a report published by The Real Deal.
THE DETAILS The co-op was sold off market for US$25 million and boasts five bedrooms and five bathrooms, a wood-paneled library and views over one of Manhattan’s most prestigious streets as well as a staff wing.
THE WHY? Perelman has sold multiple assets in his bid to save Revlon and presumably Lauder, who already owns an apartment in the same building spotted a deal. The apartment was originally listed for US$27.9 million in 2020 before taking it off the market.
